Hey babes!

Today I wanted to show some Swatches of the new Colourpop palette called the "Yes, Please" palette. This palette is so so so good, and is one of the most affordable palettes I've ever come across. This palette screams summer, filled with some of the most pigmented - trendiest shades.

So before we get into the swatches lets go into a little bit into this palette. First off the palette comes with 12 shades in a cute cardboard style packaging, with the words "cute af" on the front. Now that is probably like the only thing I don't really like about the palette. Not because I don't like the packaging, but for some reason they call this palette the "Yes, Please" palette but it doesn't have that name anywhere on the palette except on the back. Which I feel like can be a little confusing for people because its like two palette names in one.

Besides that this palette is so so good. Like so goooood. Its extremely pigmented, extremely blendable, and amazing quality.

The palette retails for only $16 USD!! THATS INSANE! In a time where most palettes are $50+ for around the same amount of product, its kind of crazy that colourpop can make this one so affordable!

Hello There Dolls,

Welcome back to my blog! If your wondering where the heck I've been for the last month, stay tuned to tomorrows post and everything will make sense! But for today we are going to be talking about the ultimate Instagram hack - taking the perfect picture EVERYTIME! Weather you are at brunch, in the mall, in the club It doesn't matter because I'm going to teach you the simplest little hack thats going to keep your feed poppin.

So you guys are probably like wait so how on earth am I going to take the perfect picture every time?!?!?

Well the secret is one simple tool that has forever changed my Insta - game if you will.... Thats right, the ring light. Now before you think I'm telling you to carry around a $100+ piece of photography equipment, hear me out. There is this brand called "FLII" and they have created a little light that you can attach to your phone ( no matter what style its universal ) and it literally gives you the perfect little ring of light. You can leave it on - it never slips off of my phone - or stick it in your purse when its done because its a mini portable ring light!

This light offers three different dimmable settings by just clicking the power button. It comes with a little micro usb to charge it and charges super quick! The charge is going to last you a good two hours if you use it on the highest, brightest setting.

They come in a few different colors but I picked up mine in black to match my black iPhone 7 plus! Also the thing I like the most about these lights is that unlike the traditional light up selfie phone case, you can actually just turn the light around so you can use it with your back camera as well! Making shots of products, foods, your friends anything and everything have the best lighting possible!

So as long as you practice your poses, and pick out the perfect VSCO' filter, all you need is this little FLII light and your Instagram will be blowing up in no time! Also the light offers you cool lighting, which is what I shoot all of my photos in. Cool lighting means its more white / blue light rather than a more warm yellow light that can give a warmer tinge to the photo.

Hey Dolls!

Today we are talking the ever popular Nicole Guerriero X ABH Glow kit that everyone and there mothers have been talking about! As a fellow Tampa resident, I knew right away I needed to support my girl Nicole and get this palette no matter what! I picked it up off the ABH website the day it launched, and I've been in love ever since. Also mind that this glow kit is a Sephora / ABH website exclusive so your not going to be able to pick it up at your local Ulta.

First thing I noticed with this glow kit is the versatility of the kit. It comes with six shades which pretty much covers all of the colors of highlighter you might ever need. It also comes with a few fun shades that I knew I needed in my collection. One of the colors is a peachy - orange shade that I love because its so unique.

Another interesting color in the kit is the white shade that has a blue - purple switch to it. Along side of the versatility this kit really can work for any and everyone - no matter the skin tone. These shades mix together super super well. So if your darker in completion you can mix some of the lighter shades that may not work with your skin tone, and add them to a color like 143.

If your pale you can mix some of the darker more gold shades with the color Forever Lit, to lighten it up and make every color work for your skin tone.

The Glow kit comes with six shades - that range from pale to bronze.

The texture of these highlighters are very metalized / metallic. They really look like skin and not like a powdery highlight. Some shades have a little bit of glitter and some like Forever Lit have a irredesent finish.

- Shade Breakdown -

Forever Lit - White with blue / purple reflect switch

Kitty Kat - Pink ish highlight second lightest shade

Glo Getter - Champagne Gold

Forever young - Very very unique mauve / taupe / pink shade

143 - The darkest shade - a  true gold bronze

Daydream -  Orange - Peach

- Swatches -

From L to R - 143 - Day Dream - Glo Getter - Forever Young - Kitty Kat - Forever Lit

Where to buy -

Price - 40$

So thats it for todays post guys! Let me know what your favorite glow kit from ABH is, and follow me on Instagram for more daily posts! xxx

Hey Babes!

After I posted a few pics on snapchat and insta - stories so many of you asked me to talk about these beautiful brushes from the brand Ruby Signature!! Im super excited to see that you guys wanted to hear more about these brushes because literally the second I got this brush set in the mail I knew they'd be a favorite of mine!! There white with gold handles ( which I mean hello aesthetic lol ) and come with eight brushes.

Now recently I review the unicorn brushes and I told you all that they were a cute concept but they didn't have the best versatility when it came to style of brushes that you might need to do a full face of makeup. However with this set it really gives you all the tools to do a full face application (note this is a face set so there isn't eye brushes, however it does come with a lip brush as a bonus. )

- Brushes -

1. Finishing powder and bronzer Brush

Large fluffy brush with a slight angle slant to it. Perfect for large application of powder.

2.  Powder and bronzer Brush

Large round powder brush, perfect for bronzer or light application of blush.

3. Cream powder blush and natural contour.

A smaller round brush my favorite for contouring.

4. Full coverage powder and liquid

This is the brush I typically use to buff in foundation, and cream products.

5. Full coverage liquid and cream

This brush is a smaller more dense version of the 04 brush. Perfect for foundation application, or for cream contour / blush.

6. Face concealer

A traditional paddle brush to apply cream products before you blend them out.

7. Ultimate contouring

My favorite brush out of the whole set! Perfect for contouring and also to put on your highlighting concealer.

Bonus brush - Lip brush

Super cute brush with a little cover. Perfect to mix your lip colors and apply.

- Brush Details -

Snow Golden Collection 2017
Bristle: Taklon Fibre
100% Cruelty Free
Price - $200.00AUD or $150+USD

- Where to Purchase -

So there you have it guys! I wanted to share all the details with you all on this stunning brush set! All in all, these brushes are beautiful, cruelty free, don't shed, and are amazing quality. Which is why I really think this is my favorite brush set that I've tried! If you guys want to try them out, check out all the links below! I love you guys and hope you have a great weekend <3 p="" xx="">

Hey babes!

Its finally the season for glitter, sparkle, color, and unicorns? Ya Unicorns. Festival season / spring is definitely the time for brands to come out with super fun products, and Tarte has kicked off this spring with some super fun products! Including this extremely talked about "Unicorn Brushes."

This brush set by Tarte actually goes by the name of "The Magic Wands Brush set." However I think we can all agree that these stunning brushes look exactly like unicorn horns! So cute ;)

- The Set -
This limited edition brush set comes in a pack of five different tools. The brush handles are super duper long making them super easy to use. Each brush comes in a different fun shade from bright pink to mint green. The wands or "horns" as we could say come in a true golden shade.

Also this brush set is made up of Vegan friendly fibers - which you know this lil vegan loves ;)

- The Brushes -

The set comes with five brushes total.

Description off of the website -

  • magenta contour brush: dense, flat bristles create a perfectly controlled contour, strobe or highlight or you can use it with the spellbound glow rainbow highlighter for a prismatic rainbow glow
  • pink powder brush: applies just the right amount of foundation or finishing powder for an airbrushed look
  • green blending eyeshadow brush: fluffy shadow brush defines the crease while blending out harsh lines
  • blue shading eyeshadow brush: flat shading brush packs on base shadows & softens around the crease
  • purple liquid foundation brush: dense, fluffy bristles pick up & apply cream or liquid foundations & primers

- Is it worth it? -

Now comes the age old question...Is it worth it? Well if you love Insta - ready brush set's then yes! Its super super cute and functional, but more so marketed at either people who love the niche concept of them being super fun unicorn brushes OR to people who don't need a lot of brushes. I wouldn't say that this going to be the only brush set any one will ever need because there is only 5 brushes, however the 5 brushes are super nice quality and def will work to do a makeup look.

So all in all YES I do think this brush set is worth it for $39 because they are super cute and niche, they are limited edition, and they are from Tarte.

- Where to Buy -

Thats it babes! Hope you enjoyed and be sure to let me know if you got your hands on this brush set, and if you love it!

2:11:00 PM
Hey dolls,

Lets talk about my newest obsession for spring / summer. Blush. I don't know what it is, but here recently I've been obsessed with that fresh bright pop of color on the cheeks. Something about it just looks so fresh and radiant. Its like adding a breath of freshness to your look. To compliment this fresh faced, blushing babe, trend I love to add in the look of freckles. Weather you have them or you pencil them on, they are undoubtedly the trend of the summer.

Today I wanted to share with you guys my top 5 favorite blush colors, for every season and every occasion.

- My Top Picks -

1. Vampy Plum Cheeks

The first blush I have to talk about is MAC's Pro longwear Blush in "Stubborn." This blush has to be noted because its literally all I wore on my cheeks for like a whole year when I was a little younger. Its a super super pigmented matte plum pink red shade that looks so good when gently applied to the cheeks. Be careful with this one though, because a little goes a very long way and if you pick up to much product you may end up with an 80's throwback look. Iconic yes, but definitely not the kind of look we are going for here.

M.A.C. Pro LongWear Blush in "Stubborn"

$ 27.00

2. Nude Glam

The next blush is on the total opposite end of the spectrum in literally every way. This blush is my go to for everyday, when I'm wearing a more classic nude / brown look. Its the blush that goes with any and every look, giving just a subtle nude glow to the cheek bones. This Blush is called, "Rose Champagne" from Wet n Wild. This blush is a super neutral nude shade with a slight reflect of shimmer.

Wet N Wild Blush in "Rose Champagne."

$ 2.99

3. Doll Pink

My favorite shade out of this bunch has to be this color from Hard Candy called "Living Doll." I mean the name speaks for itself here. It really is the perfect doll like pink shade. Super pigmented satin finish gives this blush the prettiest look on your cheeks. A very healthy pink fresh glow. My absolute fav.

Hard Candy Blush in "Living Doll."

$ 7.00

4. Peach goddess

Whats better than a brozey, glowy, summer time look with a pop of peach? Not much. lol. This blush is of course one to mention, but I wont go into to much detail because you probably own this one already. Milani Cosmetics blush in " Luminoso " literally has a cult following. I mean everyone in the makeup community probably either has heard about it a million times, or owns like five of them. But just in case your not caught up, this blush is basically the perfect orange / peach blush with a really pretty luminosity to it. Want to be a summer time goddess? Pick up a Luminoso.

Milani Blush in " Luminoso."

$ 8.49

5. Parisian Pink

I of course had to add in a dusty rose shade to the mix, & this one definitely fits the bill. I like to call this one " Parisian Pink," because well it reminds me of something a totally chic Parisian super model would totally add in to her effortless beauty routine. Its a super pretty matte shade, that just adds a little dainty pop of pink to the cheeks, and I am obsessed for real. It may be the most expensive product on this list, but don't over look it. It really is the perfect pink blush.

Chanel Blush in "Emotion"

$ 45.00

- Swatches -

Here are some swatches of the blushes above.

L to R

- Milani ' Luminoso,' Wet N Wild 'Rose Champagne,' Hard Candy 'Living Doll,' Chanel 'Emotion,' MAC 'Stubborn.'

That's It for today's post everyone! Hope you enjoyed, and be sure to comment your blush recommendations below. Don't for get to follow me on Instagram @Officialsavvyj and I will talk to you all in the next post. xoxo

Hello dolls,

I was recently browsing the internet and came across a site called Glambot. Basically there advert flashed something along the lines of discounted makeup at me, so you know I had to check it out. After doing a little research I found out that it is basically a website that sells "pre-owned" makeup for a discounted price. Now before you click out of this post after hearing "pre-owned" and "makeup" in the same sentence, let me fill you in.

Basically they buy and sell either brand new makeup or makeup that's only been slightly used or swatched. They also only take products from there specific brand list that includes brands like, Chanel and MAC. In line with the fact that they only sell super nice brands, they also authenticate every product as well as sanitize everything before ever putting it up on the market.

Something else that you guys may want to look into is that you can actually sell your products to Glambot and make some extra cash! I know that I've definitely bought my fair share of too light or too dark foundations in the past, so I thinks its definitely worth it to get rid of items like that. Especially so you can make room for some new products. ;)

Now that you know a little bit about the way the site itself works, lets get into the haul. I picked up 7 products in total and only spent around $50 bucks! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!?!? Heck, I normally spend that on two products at Sephora...

Hello everyone!

Today I wanted to share my new favorite subscription box called, SoChoix! Its a box that allows you to actually pick your own sample items instead of being sent them at random! All you do is go on to there website pick what subscription plan suits you best, and then choose your products. They have thousands of high end products to choose from. Everything from fragrance, to makeup, to nail polish.

- Sample Sizing -

The first thing I think of when I look into getting a new subscription box, is product size. Are the products even going to be worth the price, and am I even going to use the products given. With So Choix I was super super surprised at how big the samples actually are! Everything I got I can with out a doubt get multiple uses out of, which is better than normal sample boxes that give you barely enough for one application.

- My picks -
When I went to pick out my products, I knew I wanted to try to get a little of everything so I had a good idea of how the products are sampled out. So I picked a Fragrance, an eye shadow, a highlighter, a concealer, and a lip liner. I would say all of these products are delved out super well, size wise. I can get tons of use out of the powder products, as they are a pretty nice sized pan. Also something I loved about the powders products, is that the pans are the same size as a normal eye shadow pan so they fit perfectly into all of my magnetic pallets. The perfume is such a good size to take with you in your purse! Also the concealer is super super pigmented so it will last quite a while! The lip liner is also a great size and can be sharpened a few times to get full use out of it. I'm going to put each product I tried with links below for you guys in case you want to try in your box!

Dior Contour Lipliner Pencil - 532 Jungle Brown

Hello everyone,

Today's Post is going to be a review of the affordable liquid lipsticks from BH Cosmetics. I also swatched all six shades that I picked up, below!

- Formula -

First lets talk formula. These are more of a traditional liquid lipstick formula, which you all know I tend to prefer. I like that typical thin, ultra matte, stays on for ever type of lippie and these certainly don't fall short of that. If I was to compare this formula to any thing else it would probably be Colourpop's formula. However these aren't exactly the same, which is good. I would say these apply slightly thinner on the lips than Colourpop's, which I personally like because they feel slightly lighter on the lips. These lippies are perfect if you want to wear a liquid matte lipstick in the hot summer months, because they don't feel heavy or cakey on the lips.

- Pigmentation -

The pigmentation on these are good, I wouldn't say that all the colors are extremely opaque but there pretty close. I would say that they only one that has a lighter pigmentation is the red one called "Glory." Its still pigmented, but it just tends to look more pinky red than a true blood red.

Other than that they are pretty darn pigmented, and last quite a long time on the lips with out cracking, or feeling dry.

- Description on site -

Put more pow in your pout with our BH Liquid Lipstick, a luscious, long-wearing, full-coverage formula that goes on wet and dries to a soft matte finish that won't smudge, budge, or transfer. Infused with Vitamin E for antioxidant protection, this high-performance, high-fashion lipstick adds effortless glam to any look with just one swipe. It's available in 10 colors, from baby pink to smoldering red to edgy blackberry, for day-to-night versatility. Talk about a smart mouth!

- Ingredients -

Ingredients/Ingrédients / Made in USA – Net Wt / Poids Net 3.4 g / 0.12 oz ℮ Isododecane, Cyclopentasiloxane, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Behenyl Methacrylate/T-Butyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Dimethicone, Kaolin, Synthetic Beeswax, Silica Silylate, Octyldodecanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, C18-36 Acid Triglyceride, Propylene Carbonate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol. Hello there dolls,

Today we are talking all about the new fragrance from Roja Parfum's called - Ti Amo. The fragrances from Roja Parfums are highly sought after, luxury fragrances that contain some of the best ingredients on the market. They also pay close attention to detail while creating the luxurious packaging that the perfume is encased in.

“Each perfume from the Profumi D’Amore collection evokes the different chapters of a love story - from the very first moment passion is ignited (My Love), to a declaration of love (I Love You), ending with a love affair that lasts forever (I Will Love You Forever). A passionate love letter in fragrant form.” - Roja Dove

- Fragrance Description -

A soft, sensual base of Vanilla, Cocoa, and Tonka Bean mingle with leather-like Labdanum and Cistus, Ambergris, and Musk, warmed by Patchouli, Vetiver, Guaiacwood and Sandalwood, enlivened by Ginger, Pink Pepper, Saffron, Cinnamon and Cumin, sublimated by a bouquet of Lily of the Valley, Rose, Neroli, Orange Blossom, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang and Heliotrope, further sweetened by fruity Pineapple, the whole freshened by citrus Bergamot, Mandarin, and leafy Galbanum, nestling on a powdery base of Carrot Seed and Orris.

- My Review -

So lets talk about this fragrance. When I first tried this perfume out, all I could think was how it was an Oriental scent ( I typically don't like Oriental scents ) and how I could smell a powdery note mixed with a strong scent of chocolate. Now I know that doesn't sound appealing, but just hear me out. When I first smelled it in the bottle I wasn't exactly sold on it yet. Probably because any kind of scent with a powdery note tends to smell a little to mature for my personal liking. But just when I was going to write this fragrance off, I gave it a spritz to my skin and it changed everything. Now with fragrance a lot of people who don't really know much about scent will just disregard any fragrance that doesn't have instant scent appeal straight from the bottle. However to truly smell a fragrance you need to let it sink into your skin and see how it works with your specific body chemistry.

This gets me to my point. Once this scent was sprayed onto my skin, I couldn't stop smelling it. It turned super sweet and warm on my skin and those notes that I swore were going to make me smell to mature, vanished. I can only describe this scent as one thing, intoxicating. It has this beautiful, sensual, warm, chocolate scent to it that is so incredible you need to smell it yourself. I think this is the absolute perfect fragrance for a special occasion, or an upscale event. I highly, highly recommend this specific scent.

- Is It worth the price? -

I think the biggest question everyone will have about this fragrance comes down to price. Once you see the price tag for this fragrance you might be shocked, however to me this is definitely a luxury product. Its totally not something I'd where everyday, as it is quite fragrant and warm. So is it worth the price? In my opinion, yes it is totally worth every penny. Its such a staple fragrance, as well as being a very unique, interesting scent. Your paying for the luxury of turning heads, complements galore, and a scent that is so sophisticated it will have everyone wondering who your are.

Hello there,

Today's post is all about my fav glosses for summer, and pretty much just my favorite glosses of all time. These glosses are from a brand I have talked about before called Gerard Cosmetics. Now I know most of you probably know all about Gerard and when you clicked on this post you probably already knew about these glosses, because there kind of iconic in the makeup world. Most people who follow the beauty world probably have known about these forever, because they are a very stand out product.

Now your probably like ok Savvy sure there lip glosses, like whats so special? Well my friend's these glosses actually light up. Like come on. They light up and have a uber clear mirror on the side of them making them literally the easiest gloss to apply in any situation ever.

Basically, the light is there at the top of the wand to help light the way when your somewhere like a dim restaurant, a club, a concert, making it so convenient to use. I kid you not when I first got these glosses my mom said "omg that's the coolest thing I've ever seen." Her exact words here folks. But these glosses aren't just for the light / mirror combo or for the stunning classic Gerard gold lux packaging. Oh no no no. These glosses may be the prettiest unique glosses you've ever seen, but wait till you try whats inside. Life changing.

- Formula -

Getting into why these glosses are so next level completely has to do with the product inside. These glosses are the smoothest glosses I have ever tried. Not only are they smooth and apply like butter to the lips, but they are also non sticky. Now when I typically say a gloss isn't sticky it typically isn't, but it'll still have that gloss feel. These however must have some magic fairy dust in them because, they have no sticky feeling at all in the slightest.

- Pigmentation -

Pigmentation is a hard thing to talk about in glosses. Mainly because you really don't want a to pigmented gloss, other wise it pretty much turns into a lip creme. So pigmentation wise these to me are the perfect amount of light wash glossy color. They are a little bit more pigmented than a typical lip gloss, but not pigmented enough to be boarder line a lip creme.

- Price & Where To Buy -

The Color Your Smile glosses by Gerard cosmetics are currently available only online I believe. I could be wrong about this as I have said before, some stores sell in high end beauty stores in places like LA but I wouldn't really know being that I live in Florida. So as of right now I just know that they sell on two websites via online. The first being Gerard's website and the second being there sister site Whitening Lightening.

Links to purchase -

I would say the best thing about buying any thing from Gerard Cosmetics ( besides the bomb products ) is the fact that they are always having sales. So be sure to stalk there and Whitening Lighting's pages before purchasing because your almost guaranteed to find a bundle deal or a great discount code. I believe last time I checked these glosses were on sale for $10, so you guys need to jump on these asap!

Retail price per gloss - $24

Discount Price as of 5/26/16 - $10

- Swatches -

Here are swatches of my top four favorite glosses. These are perfect for spring and summer time.

- Colors From Bottom to top -

Shimmer of Hope ; Crystal ; Nude ; Buttercream

That's about it for today's post, hope you all enjoyed it and be sure to let me know what your favorite glosses are down below! Love you all and I will see you right back here tomorrow. xo

Hello dolls,

Today I am breaking down the top five products you've got to get your hands on for spring. I know some of you have requested more posts like this one so hopefully you all like it. Lets jump right in. xoxo

1. Blushing Cheeks

First on the list is my personal favorite look for spring. The flushed rosy cheek. I typically only wear blushes that are on the bronze, nude, peach, side. However when spring rolls around I cant live without a pop of color on the cheeks. I typically will go for brighter pinks as they show up better on my skin tone, however muted baby doll pinks are always pretty for spring ( just make sure you get a pigmented one. ) Below are a few of my favorite blush colors for this time of year.

2. Gleaming bronze skin

Next up is a specific product that I legit cant live without during the spring and summer. Its a product called "Body Radiance" by Gleam. They make a range of body ( can be used on the face to ) products that will make your skin look bronzed and glowy for the warmer months, I personally have picked up every color they have, and find that I can pull all of them off as they all serve different purposes. For instance I will use the "light gold" shade to give me a lightened highlight effect and then use the shade "deep gold" to give me an instant tan effect. These are great for when your showing a little more skin during the hotter months, as I find it really gives the skin an healthy, radiant glow.

p.s. sorry mine look a little busted, they've traveled with me all over the place and are a tad messed up and scratched. :/

3. Strobing

Of course this wouldn't be a spring summer post without me talking about strobing, right? Strobing has become the most popular makeup trend of 2016 and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. I personally like to use cream products to strob as I find liquids can sometimes make your makeup patchy. My favorite products for strobing at the moment are the Strobing Pallets from PUR Cosmetics. ( one of my favorite brands of all time ) They seriously killed the packaging on these new kits and whats inside is even better,. If you guys would like to see a full review comment below and let me know!

4. Dark beachy tan

I think being a bronzed goddess will always fall into any spring summer must list, right? But it is so hard to keep after your skin when your in the sun all the time. Sad face. Luckily, I have a solution. Break out the Loving Tan, I have talked about this product SO MANY times, so I'm not going to bore you with details...but just know, that it is by far the best. tanner. ever. created. Hands down. I use the shade "Ultra Dark" in the summer, and let me tell you I look more bronzed with two coats of my Ultra dark than if I laid out on an island for a week. Ya, Its that good.

If you guys want to learn more about this product just type in "loving tan" to the search bar here on my blog and you will see all the posts that I've done prior explaining why you need it in your life.

Also you can use code "SAVVY" to get a free gift with purchase.

5. Glossy lips

Top that summer look off with a gloss and your good to go. You guys know I typically skip gloss a majority of the time but there is something that I love about a glossy lip in spring and summer. I typically reach for lighter nude glosses but muted pinks are super cute for spring to...and if you can pull off a bright glossy pink lip then by all means. Below I put a few of my top picks for gloss, and they all sort of work for the girls like me who typically hate gloss. Not sticky, or thick, These glosses are for sure my top picks.

That's it for today. Hope you all enjoyed and be sure to leave your favorite must have product for spring down below. xoxo

5:00:00 PM
Hey dolls,

Today's post is all about the key essentials you should keep in your makeup bag. I tend to think about my makeup bag as a sort of ' emergency bag.' I like to be ready for any obstacle thrown my way lol. Weather or not its me who's having a face emergency or a friend I always like to be stocked up on products to help.

- The bag Itself -

Before we jump into whats actually in the makeup bag, I figured we should probably talk about what bag I actually use to store all this stuff.

The bag pictured and the one that I am currently using I got a while back at Ulta. Its just a simple bag with a little pink bow.

I was going to attempt to link it below for you guys but I cant seem to find it on the site. Let me know if any of you found a link to this bag, and I'll be sure to go back and add it in for everyone else. xo

- Concealer -

The first product we need in our makeup bag is an concealer. No need for a foundation in your bag as it takes up way way to much room and isnt great for small touch ups.

The one I have been keeping in my bag recently is by Amazing Cosmetics and is the illuminate concealer.

I especially love this concealer for these warmer months because it gives a natural glowy look.

You can get it here - $30 -

- Powder -

One of the most essential things in your makeup arsenal is powder + a powder brush. I love this little compact of translate powder by makeup forever because the powder inside is super finely milled. This is good because it doesn't make your makeup look cakey after touch ups.

The brush I carry is from PUR Cosmetics and is a little tapered powder brush. I love having this one with me specifically because if I want to throw in a highlighter or bronzer to my bag for the day, than I know that this brush will work equally as good for all of those as well. Plus its not a massive brush so it fits well into the makeup bag.

M.U.F. Powder - $22 - Sephora

PUR Brush - $22 -

- Brow Gel -

Brow touch up's are inevitable on a hot summer day. That's why I carry this tinted one by Anastasia Beverly Hills. Its in the color chocolate and gives a nice tint to the brows, while still keeping them in place.

Also alot of the time I don't fill in my brows, I just have on Wunderbrow. So its always good to have a gel so I can give my brows a little more definition through out the day.

You can get it here - $22 -

- Mascara -

I always like to pack my makeup bag with the thought that if I didn't have time to get ready in the morning, I could do my makeup in the car.

That's why I always carry around mascara, because if you dont have makeup on but you pop a little mascara and brow gel on... BAM. Instantly you look ten times more put together.

The one I currently have in my bag is my Fully Charged Mascara from PUR. I have been obsessed with this mascara for a few months now. It's one of the best I have ever tried! Lengthens lashes and makes them look super black and beautiful.

You can get it here - $22 -

( p.s. any one else notice that like all of the products in this post have been $22? Weird lol )

- Lip Balm -

This product pretty much goes without saying, I think that no matter who you are you probably either keep lip balm in your bag or have in the past. Its a clear staple.

Mine is the Korres lip butter in jasmine. This balm is very moisturizing and has a super light tint.

You can get it here - $12 - Sephora

- My Current Lip combo -

The most use things in my makeup bag are always lip products. If I don't have to touch up anything on my face through out the day, I will still touch up my lips. Typically I keep this combo in my bag, and then I just throw what ever color I am wearing that day in my bag,

This combo is my everyday brown toned nude combo.

It is Jordana Cosmetics lip liner in - Rockin Rose - $2 - Jordana

Colourpop cosmetics liquid lipstick in - Beeper - $6 - Colourpop

- Perfume -

Not that this is a makeup item, but it certainly is an essential. I always carry a roller ball or a sample of one of my favorite perfumes.

Today I had my favorite scent at the moment - Nirvana White - by Elisabeth and James

If you haven't tried this scent yet...your missing out. Go to your local sephora and pick up a sample asap. You wont regret it trust me.

You can get it here - $28 - Nordstrom

- Sole Serum -

The last product I always keep in my bag is Sole Serum. I have talked about this product before but I cant stress how helpful this little guy can be.

If you don't know what Sole Serum is, it basically is a serum that you can use on your feet when your high heels start hurting. I always carry this because if its not me in heels, than its one of my friends and regardless of how much you where heels they will still hurt after a while.

This helps alleviate the pain your feet feel after wearing your shoes for to long - making it a little easier to get through the night when your heels hurt.

You can get it here - $20 -

That's it for today's post! Hope you all enjoyed. Let me know below what your makeup bag essentials are! xoxo

How To Whiten Your Teeth At Home FT Whitening Lighting

Hey everyone!

So I recently was talking with my dentist and she was telling me all about how I should come in and get a teeth whitening treatment done, I was contemplating it but then figured I should try to get some kind of at home kit first to see if It would make a difference...So that's exactly what I did! I picked up the Whitening Lightning "Dial A Smile'' kit and couldn't wait to use it! Now at first I was slightly nervous/skeptical about doing any thing at home to my teeth ( sensitivity / lightening of the gums can be a side effect of using whitening products ) but I'm now so happy with my at home treatments! I only started using this kit a few weeks ago and already my teeth ( after one treatment ) have lightened 5 shades. So today I figured I'd show you guys how to use the kit and also my thoughts on the whole process.. So lets get started.

So here's what we are working with! This is the Dial A Smile kit By Whitening Lightning.

Where to buy -

Cost - The kit I have ( Comes with a whitening pen ) : $129.00 ( A $675 Value )

Also featured in this post - ZERO White Teeth Whitening Pen - 2 Pack $39.00  -

PROMO CODE - WL35 for 35% off

Here is what it comes with -

1 Paper shade Dial
Applicator brush
3 vitamin E swabs
1 dispensing tube
1 handheld LED Light
1 Gel syringe
3 teeth wipes
+ I picture the two zero white pens ( sold separately )

Okay now lets get started whitening! First pull out your little LED light, and remove both batteries and take out the little plastic insert Inside. Then put the batteries back in and turn on. If your light it working properly it will be a very bright blue color when turned on.

What the light does - The Handheld LED light will activate the photocatalyst within the whitener and that assists in breaking its hydrogen peroxide content down into its free radicals, this will make whitening your teeth so much faster and will make your teeth even whiter & brighter.

Next pull out your dial! This is what makes this whitening kit so unique. Basically all you do is hold the dial next to your teeth and match the shade closest to your before tooth color. Then after your treatment hold up the dial again and you'll be able to see those super quick real results! Mine started at an 8 and lightened to a 3!

Next you want to pick up your gel syringe, and dispense 1.5 ml into the little dispensing tube that you have.

This Is the main ingredient in your teeth whitening process so be careful with it! After you break the seal and have used it make sure you stick the syringe into the refrigerator until your next treatment.

This step is the step that makes you feel like your practically a dentist yourself!

First break open one of the teeth wipes ( The kit comes with 3 ) and wipe down your teeth. You are going to need to use circular motions to get all of the excess saliva off of your teeth. This will allow the product to adhere better.

Then you will need to open one of the vitamin e swabs. You use the opposite end of the swab to coat the gums and inside the lips. This helps in preventing the lightening of your gums.

Now you should already have your little bitty dispensing tube filled with 1.5ml of product, after that you'll take the tiny applicator brush and start painting the gel on your teeth. You will want to smile super wide when doing this to prevent it from getting on your lips.

Then turn on your LED light and insert it into your mouth with the plastic guard between the lips and teeth. Now... We wait! In 20 minutes you will have a whole new smile! As you can see my teeth definitely saw a huge difference in shades after only one use! Best product ever! Definitely beats having to sit at the dentist office with your mouth wide open for hours!

Extra tips - After application avoid eating or drinking anything dark that could stain your teeth, for 24 hours. The application results should last a few months to a year just depending how you take of your teeth after application.

To maintain super white teeth I follow up with the ZERO Whitening pens. This is the easiest whitening treatment ever. Basically you just paint the pen on your teeth, smile for 60 second to let the product adhere, and then just go to sleep. Wake up the next morning and brush your teeth like normal. These help prolong the effects of your Dial A Smile treatments. They can also be used by themselves as a super easy treatment for people not wanting to use a LED whitening kit. They will whiten your teeth over 14 days.

Night Time Skincare Routine Ft Carapex GIVEAWAY

Hey dolls!

Today I wanted to share with you my night time skincare routine. So recently I have gotten to try out quite a few different skin care products, and I have to say my favorites for night time is this custom three step system by Carapex. So I basically went on there site where they have tons and tons of products and sort of created my own little three step system. I picked up the Renewal Facial cleanser, the Brightening facial cream, and the Dark circle reducer eye cream. I have used these products for a little while now and have seen such a nice change in my skin! Lets get into the products and why they work so well.

*** GIVEAWAY DETAILS at the bottom of the page ***

Where to buy my whole skin care system -

Cleanser -

Facial Cream -

Eye cream -

Before I get into the details of the products, let me tell you all a little bit about my skin type so that you can see if these products will work best for you. So first off I have normal / dry skin, so a really good facial cream or moisturizer is crucial. Since I have pretty dry skin I don't really suffer from severe acne but do sometimes get texture under the skin if my face isn't hydrated enough. I also suffer from a little bit of redness on my cheeks but that is really minimal compared to how it used to be when I was younger. So this skin care routine is going to be best to just help even out and perfect your skin. This really wont be the best to help specifically clear your skin, but is more for clearer skin to just help even out & stay clear. If you want to know more about how I keep my skin clear I will be putting up a detailed post all about how to keep your skin blemish free + my day time // morning skin care routine soon.

The first product I want to talk about is the renewal facial cleanser. Now this product is an amazing facial wash that really helps exfoliate the skin and detoxify. This stuff is now joke guys! It almost makes me feel like I have gotten some kind of facial treatment after I use it! It has this really gritty feeling ( In the best way possible ) its like you feel it exfoliating every little impurity off your face. This product is said to only be used once or twice a week but because I have dry skin & need to exfoliate a little more then people with oily skin, I use it about every other day. It also says to use sunscreen for two days after so make sure you remember to do apply that, and to put moisturizer on right after use.

Here are the benefits

  • Gently but thoroughly polishes away dead skin, clears pores, visibly improves your skin texture, brightens your skin tone and helps with acne scars and skin blemishes

  • Composed of a unique mixture of soothing botanical cleanser and exfoliating crystals, this cleanser provides a pleasant buffing sensation without being overly harsh

  • Contains aloe, cucumber, chamomile and Japanese green tea extracts, shea butter, vitamin E to soothe, tighten and act as anti-oxidant on your skin

  • Visibly lightens up your skin, calms redness, resulting in radiant, refreshed and supple complexion

  • Made in Canada with natural elements, alcohol-free, SLS-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, cruelty-free

  • What's Inside - ingredient list -

60% Cleanser: Deionized Water, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Decyl Glucoside, Sucrose Cocoate, Cocamide MIPA, Glyceryl Monostearate, Chamomile Flower Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Cucumber Fruit Extract, Japanese Green Tea Leaf Extract, Emulsifying Wax NF, Optiphen. 40% Microdermabrasion: Deionized Water, Aluminum Silica {Bauxite}, Glyceryl Monosteatate, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Vegetable Glycerine, Stearic Acid, Tocopherol {Vitamin E}, Cetyl Alcohol, Optiphen, Carapex Moisturizing Complex.

Next we have my favorite product in the line! This is the brightening facial cream. I am obsessed with this face cream! It not only brightens, but helps make the skin look soft and supple. I use this cream every single night after I wash my face and it really helps keep my face hydrated and glowing. This also helps lighten any kind of dark spots or discoloration on the face. This really helps tone down any redness that I have on my cheeks.

    Here are the benefits

  • Nourishing natural formula designed to deliver a younger-looking, softer, glowing complexion

  • Corrects skin discoloration problems with natural botanical extracts, like sophora flavescens and kiwi root

  • Gently evens out your skin tone: studies show our extracts are 94% as effective as Kojic Acid, but without harsh chemicals or toxins

  • A luxurious blend of avocado oil, grape seed oil, sweet almond oil, olive oil, sunflower seed oil, shea butter, mango butter, aloe vera, vitamin E and cucumber extract keeps your skin hydrated, rejuvenated and soft to the touch

  • Made in Canada with natural elements, paraben-free, fragrance-free, harsh chemicals-free, cruelty-free

  • What's inside - ingredient list -

Deionized Water, Kiwi Fruit Water, Sophora Angustifolia Root Extract, Olive Oil, Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Diacetyl Boldine, Shea Butter, Mango Seed Oil, Vegetable Glycerine, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Cucumber Fruit Extract, Cetyl Alcohol, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Tocopherol {Vitamin E}, Cyclopentasiloxane, Optiphen, Carapex Moisturizing Complex.

The last product I have is the dark circle reducer. This under eye cream is amazing! I never really thought that I needed a under eye cream being that I'm only 19, but hydrating your under eyes specifically, is a game changer! It not only helps keep your under eye circles from looking super dark, and also helps firm the eye area but using a cream under your eyes helps your concealer sit amazingly on your skin. Keeping this area hydrated will help make sure that your makeup doesn't crease or looking cakey. This eye cream also helps reduce any kind of puffiness and I have noticed that my under eye circles (never really that pigmented) almost look none existent now!

    Here are the benefits

  • Natural gentle multi-action eye cream targeting under-eye dark circles, wrinkles and puffiness

  • Improves under eye skin tone and corrects discoloration with new generation of botanical extracts such as sophora flavescens extract and kiwi fruit water

  • Repairs wrinkles and lines with natural moisturizers such as shea butter, mango butter and avocado oil

  • Reduce puffiness and sagging with cucumber extract, aloe leaf extract and wild mushroom extract

  • Made in Canada with natural elements, paraben-free, fragrance-free, harsh chemicals-free, alcohol-free, cruelty-free

  • What's Inside - ingredient list -

Deionized Water, Kiwi Fruit Water, Sophora Angustifolia Root Extract, Olive Oil, Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Diacetyl Boldine, Shea Butter, Mango Seed Oil, Vegetable Glycerine, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Cucumber Fruit Extract, Cetyl Alcohol, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Tocopherol {Vitamin E}, Cyclopentasiloxane, Optiphen, Carapex Moisturizing Complex.

Now I decided to add a makeup free picture to show you guys my results. As you can see my skin tone is evening out by using these products everyday. Also you can see my under eye circles aren't that bad, and my redness is calming down. D.I.Y. Face Mask

    Hey dolls!

I wanted to share a new face mask with you all that I have been swearing by! This is a super easy three step mask ( that smells like heaven ) that helps fight breakouts! So for this D.I.Y. you will literally only need three things, all of which you probably have lying around your home. What you will need :

    2 Tablespoons of Nutmeg

    2 Tablespoons of Honey

    1 Tablespoon of Milk

Leave on for minimum of 10 - 15 minutes

Here's how to make it :

    Step 1:

First gather your ingredients, and make sure you have a few napkins handy because just like any D.I.Y. face mask it can get kinda sticky.

    Step 2 :

Get your 1 Tablespoon of milk, easy enough right? Now lets talk about the benefits of milk and why you should put it on your face! So milk contains lactic acid in it which is great for a non abrasive exfoliation of the face. Milk also will help to hydrate, smooth and alleviate redness.

    Step 3 :

Next get 2 tablespoons of nutmeg. This is what makes this mask smell like a cozy home at Christmas time, no joke its kind of amazing. Nutmeg is also the main ingredient in this mask that helps fight breakouts, and combat acne. How so? Well nutmeg has anti-inflammatory properties in it that help fight off acne, and also curative properties which can help lighten scars / sunspots.

    Step 4 :

Honey! This recipe calls for 2 Tablespoons ( Dats alottt of honey ) for good reason! The nectar, honey and resin from flowers can be anti aging, help to moisturize and fight off bacteria. Also it helps unclog pores, and since its so moisturizing it helps give your skin a beautiful glow!

    Step 5 -

Put it on ya faceee! Simple as that! Just mix all of the ingredients together, creating a slightly watery paste.. and apply! I also have to add that I am currently still in pure after mask bliss considering I literally just did this mask before writing this and my skin feels heavenly!! I am always skeptical of facial masks, skin care, etc. because I never see instant results. ( sad face ) But with this mask I FEEL the results. Its like it makes your skin feel so awake and soft. Plus when you start to rinse it off ( with warm water of course ) the nutmeg turns it into an exfoliator and helps get rid of any dry patches. So all in all this mask was to bomb not to share with you all. Hope you enjoyed, and make sure to leave me any of your fav D.I.Y.'s down in the comments.

    #ColorSeries + A Few Updates

    Hey guys!

Considering I haven't posted in a few weeks here is the low down on my absence.. So first  off thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes! I spent my actual birthday out of town but felt all the love from all of your sweet birthday wishes. After my birthday, I started to get back in the swing of things and its been hectic ever since.. and I mean hectic in the best way possible! I have a TON of collabs that are going to be coming up on here, and even some GIVEAWAYS! YAASSS! Who doesn't love a good giveaway? Also as you may have noticed we got an upgrade!! That's right we are now instead of A simple yet exciting change! Okay updates over! Now lets move on the fun stuff. So I recently have re-developed a love for colored looks. If you follow my socials you would know that I've been hash tagging #colorseries left and right. Now me not being a huge fan of lots of color, I had to come up with a way to make wearing bold bright's look classy, and chic! So here is my tips on how to perfectly execute bold looks for summer... First off I literally always start my looks the same way. Yes I'm totally guilty of just switching up the colored shadows and keeping the entire rest of the look the same. So for a base I use warm toned shadows almost always, and even if the look calls for cooler tones... I still use warms and just add one or two cools to balance it out. Another little trick for the crease is scotch tape, yep that's right scotch tape! I use to small pieces to create a sharp edge from my outer corner to just below the brow bone. This insures that when I peel the tape back, there will be a sharp line and a guideline for my liner. Next after you've blended in some browns to your crease, its time for the color! I use some type of shadow insurance or glitter glue on my lid and slightly into the crease to help make my lids look bigger. Using an adhesive will insure that you have minimal fall out and that your lid color wont transfer into your crease. Next chose your color weather its green or teal or purple or heck even red, make sure you have two similar colors. You should work with a darker shade and a lighter shade. This adds real dimension to your look! Pack on the dark color towards the outside of the lid and the lighter towards the inner corner. Then take a blending brush with no additional product and blend the color shadows slightly with the crease colors. Also you might need to blend your lid colors together a little bit if your new to blending! Now just remove your tape, add your liner, do your lashes a Viola! You could also drag some brown on your bottom lash line and mix in the lid color if you want a more dramatic look! Also keep the skin fresh and bronzy, I don't add any kind of colored blush ( only gingerly by MAC - a bronze skin tone matte blush ) because you want to skip the color on your cheeks and lips! For lips I always use NYX Nude Beige lip liner - MAC Myth lipstick - and Buxom White Russian lip gloss (all linked below.) So there you go, my tips and tricks to have you rocking those colorful eyes this summer! XO

    Top 5 Highlighters + Swatches

Hey guys so summer is here! ☀ So that means its time to break out all of the highlighters and bronzers! I recently posted a post all about bronzing so check that out here -> But anyways I decided to show you all my top favorite products for highlighting. Now highlighting I'm not going to lie is a huge obsession of mine ♡♡♡♡  (and every other makeup girl out there) so narrowing down my highlighters to only 5 was a tough task. But I pulled five that all have very different undertones, so this post is universal for lots of skin tones! So from left to right in the picture below the highlighters are Wet N Wild "Hollywood Blvd." MAC Cosmetics "soft "& gentle" The Balm Cosmetics  "Mary-lou Manizer"  Physicians Formula "Bronze Pearl" & Stilla "Kitten." So the first one we have ( also the cheapest ) Is a new favorite of mine called "Hollywood Blvd" By Wet N Wild. Its such a pretty and pigmented highlight which quite honestly is hard to find in a drugstore product. This one has more of a bronzy kind of tone to it but isn't dark so if your paler you can still rock it! Next one is MACs "soft & Gentle" which is one of the most popular highlighters in the ranges permanent collection. It has a cooler tone to it and is more pinky champagne with lots of little glitter reflects, but don't worry its nothing to crazy and it wont make you look like a disco ball when you walk into direct sunlight!  Next up Is my personal fav, and by FAR the most crazily pigmented highlighter of the bunch (or of all time tbh) like this product does not play around, for real one swipe on the cheeks and you can spot it from outer space!! So this one tends to pull the most golden of the bunch, but is so gorgeous on the skin! Next is the darkest one I pulled. This one is by Physicians Formula and is in the shade "Bronze Pearl." For me this a great baked bronzer, & I personally use it to layer lightly over my bronzer when I want a healthy glowy look! But if your darker then me (About an NC40 in MAC foundations) then this product will be a gorgeous bronzy highlight on you! 😍 So last but not least the ever so popular Stilla "Kitten." So this shade is like a gorgeous rose gold shade but is still light enough to work for almost all skin tones! It has a very unique tone to it, and Stilla actually sells it in highlighter and eye shadow forms! So there you go, my top five favorite highlighters! I will make sure to link all of the ones motioned below with direct links! xoxo

    MOTD: Exotic Eyes

Hey all! So today I wanted to do a product breakdown of this really dramatic eye look I did today! So this look is all about the lower lash line and creating that really elongated cat eye shape. For this I started out by just doing a completely normal eye shadow look on the lid. Only thing different I did was extend the crease slightly. In the crease I used a mixture of  "soft brown" by MAC (as my transition shade) "cocoa bear" by makeup geek, "dance the tides" by nyx, and "embark" by MAC. Then on the lid I packed on the lightest matte white shade from the Urban Decay "Naked 3" palate. Then I did a pretty dramatic winged liner using NYC' liquid liner in black, I also went in an extended my inner corner with the liquid liner to give that sharp point. Then on the lower lash line I put Urban decays black khol liner in the water line, connecting it to that inner corner point we did. Next comes the main focus of the look. So first I mapped out the shape of the bottom liner with NYX' pencil in "cocoa" then smoked it out with the "soft brown'' shadow we used before. Next I went in with NYX' shadow in the color "wild orchid" to add a light pop of a dark pinkish shade, I also went in a dusted that over the crease to balance it out. Then just add lashes and viola! you have gorgeous exotic eyes with a pop of color perfect for a dramatic summery look!

Other products used: Primer - Maybelline babyskin, Foundation- Kevin Acouiyn ( color smx9 ), Concealer- Nars radiant creamy in ''Custard,'' Contour - BH cheek palate (dark brown shade), Bronzer- Lorac tantalizer matte bronzer & baked bronzer, Blush - Milani "delizizo pink", Lips - Kardashian beauty joystick in hot pink + girl about town lipstick by MAC.

    Brows 101:

Hey guys! So one of things I get asked about most is how to get that perfect brow, and its actually a lot easier then you think!! So today I'm going to go over some tips and tricks on how to have those picture perfect brows. So first things first, we have to shape and sculpt the brows. My biggest tip for this is to get three main tools...You're going to need tweezers, a brow razor, and some tiny scissors. All of these can be purchased at any drugstore, walmart, target etc.. So once you have those map out what type of shape you want your brows then tweeze away access hairs, and use the razor to remove hairs underneath the brows. By using the razor under the brows your really going to get a more defined shape and make the brows look a lot neater. Next is the scissors. So what you want to use these for is for the front of your brow, you want to trim the front hairs down so that they are even with the rest of the brow hairs. Now your brows should have a great shape to them! After you have done all this work to your brows go ahead and apply a beauty oil or a little bit of your moisturizer to the brows lightly to help minimize redness and help them not feel so irritated from all the plucking. Now is when you really can manipulate the shape, color, thickness of the brows. First thing I always recommend is a brow pencil, my favorite is the "brow wiz" by Anastasia Beverly Hills. Its a thin pencil that mimics the natural hairs of the brow, but It can be a little bit pricey so I will leave a link to some cheaper dupes down below. So once you've found your perfect pencil, your going to want to start outlining the brow. Use a light hand and outline the shape of the brow, then use small feather like strokes and fill in any small gaps. Next up is brow powder/pomade, I personally like powder for the brows better. It helps them look a little more natural and blends a bit better. So I take Senna Cosmetics "Espresso" brow powder and fill in the brow with a MAC 266 angled brush. What you want to do is use small light motions and fill in all of the brow. If you want more of a ombre brow, use a heavier hand towards the tail of the brow and a very light hand or a powder a shade lighter in the front of the brow. So now that there all filled in you can go in with a clear brow gel, and set them but I only recommend doing so if you have thicker brow because if you have a lot of drawn in hairs then it can make it look a little less natural. Now the last step/ life saver is cleaning up your brows with concealer! All you have to do is take a small brush and dip it in the SMALLEST amount of concealer and line under your brows and a little bit above your front brow hairs. This instantly cleans up and powder of pencil that you may have gotten out of your brow line! So that's it! All the steps to keeping them brows on fleek ;)

    Makeup Organization:

Hey guys! I wanted to just make a quick post about makeup storage and organization.. So when you have a lot of beauty products you obviously need somewhere to store them right? Right. So I wanted to let you know of a little mini secret that I have on how to save money and still keep your makeup looking super chic! So one little tip is for storing your makeup brushes... I personally think its a super cute and practical to store brushes in a glass of some sort! I personally have some of mine stored in a large wine glass from ikea. I helped make it a little cuter by tying a little piece of light pink ribbon on the bottom. But for my favorite type of storage I love the acrylic makeup cases!! They're just so chic and make displaying some of your favorite pieces (or your whole collection) look so cute! But here's the thing... they are normally quite pricey :/ But here's the little tip... If you go to home goods or hobby lobby, TJ max, Marshalls, ect. you can get them for like 8-10$! That's a lot better then spending like 50 bucks online for the same thing!! Hope you guys found this mini post helpful and make sure you comment & Let me know what your favorite storage secret is! <3

    How to : Summer glow

    Hey Everyone!

So summer time is rolling around and something that everyone (especially when you live in Florida like me) longs for, is that tanned summer time glow! I mean who doesn't want to look like a golden goddess? But how can you maintain that tan, healthy look all year long and without the harsh and damaging effects of being in the sun? Well lucky for you I have all the secrets to looking effortlessly glowy with out ever even having to leave your house;) So first things first lets start with the "Base" as I like to call it. The base is basically your tan. Now I've tried tons of sunless tanners but I only have one that I always repurchase. Its called "St. Moriz Instant Sunless Tanning Mousse (In Dark)." I happen to think its the easiest way to tan. It has a dark color guard to show you exactly where your putting it. I happen to apply it with a sunless tanning mit and all you have to do is evenly work it in like a lotion and let it develop for around 5 hours or so, then just wash it off to reveal your perfect tan! So now you have a perfect golden tan, but that alone doesn't give you that illuminated look! So I HIGHLY recommend Gleam by Melanie Mills body radiances! They give your body a highlighted, tanned appearance. It helps even out any splotchyness , and makes you look magazine ready! I use all four colors, bronze gold, light gold, deep gold, and rose gold in the skin enhancers. Also the body shimmer dust, in rose gold which is a loose shimmer powder rather then the body radiances, which are a lotion type of consistency. They also smell amazing! One more thing I can recommend to you guys is sorta a two in one. The product is by Sally Hanson and is called "Airbrush legs." Now its going to give you a lot of color and shimmer in one, so I wouldn't recommend it for day time because direct sunlight will make it look like you've bathed in sparkles, which I mean hey that's not necessarily a bad thing ;D But... I think its just more preferable to use at night. Also it is marketed as a "leg product" but you most definitely can use it as an all over tan booster! So with all these tips you should have the most tan, radiant, JLo-esque, summer look ever...enjoy!

    Spring Beauty Essentials :

Spring is upon us! So I figured I would share with you guys some of my favorite products that I tend to gravitate towards every spring! So lets start off with skin. This something that you sort of have to switch up around spring and summer time (At least you do if you live in the ever so humid Florida, like me.) So I always recommend going for something a little more sheer and a little more dewy. This way your skin can still breathe, and wont look cakey. The one foundation I recommend highly is the "L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder." Now I typically stay away from any type of foundation with the word "powder" in it, but this one is different. It is very VERY liquidy in consistency and evens out the skin tone without being cakey, or to full coverage. I also highly recommend the Maybelline BB cream 5-in-1, and the Revlon nearly naked foundation. The BB cream is going to be the sheerest lightest coverage, then the L'Oreal magic nude, and then the Revlon one takes the spot for having the most coverage. Then for skin I highly recommend cream products over your lighter foundation to give you a beautiful natural look. Creams tend to blend better into the skin and just slightly enhance instead of being super harsh. So I highly recommend this contour/blush duo by ELF. Its in the color "St. Lucia" and has the prettiest cream blush in it.. the bronzer is also super nice and bendable. Now to add a glow and a little bronze I would totally go with Lorac's "TANalizer baked bronzer." It is a beautiful shimery bronzer/highlighter that looks so pretty and makes your skin look super dewy and beautiful! Another thing to help insure that glow and healthy look is fix plus by Mac! It sets all your makeup products once you're done applying them and really refreshes the skin! Next up lips! I loveeee lip colors in the spring!! There is nothing prettier in warmer weather then a totally natural look with a pop of color on the lips 😍 So I recommended three lip colors one a pop of color and two neutral light pretty colors! So the first and lightest option is the Korres lip butter in "Jasmine." Its super light and basically like a tinted baby pink lip balm! Next is a little bit more pigmented option and that is the NYX soft matte lip crème in "Istanbul." Its a super pretty kind of salmon based baby pink color and it looks so soft and pretty on the lips! Next is the most high voltage lipstick I think I even own! Its the Mac cosmetics lipstick in "Candy Yum Yum" 😍😍😍😍😍 Its so pretty and I re- fall in love with it every year! Its one of Macs most popular lipsticks and cannot be duped! Like it is just way way to complex of a highlighter pink then any other color on the market! Also mac has some super pretty lip colors that I also loveee for spring like "All fired up" or "flat out fabulous" ect.. So I highly recommend you swing by a Mac and get your hands on your perfect spring/ summer lipstick shade! Last but not least is nails! I have been obsessed with purple this spring! Normally I jump straight into bright pinks, like MACs nail lacquer in "girl about town," but this year I've been all about pastel purple! My current fav is Essie's "To buy or not to buy."
