Vegan Recipes - Buffalo Cauliflower + Vegan Ranch!



Hey dolls!


So last night I snapchat'd one of my favorite recipes ever! My vegan buffalo cauliflower wings, and a TON of you guys snapped me asking for the recipe! So here it is!

- What you'll need - 


Ingredients 


  • 1 head of cauliflower or two bags of pre cut up cauliflower ( Heres a link to the ones I buy from target -> Target Cauliflower
Binder
  • 1 cup soy milk - As a binder 
Flour Mixture

  • 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour 
  • 1 tsp Himalayan Rock salt 
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder 
  • 1 Tbsp paprika 
  • 1 Tbsp Onion powder 
  • 1 tsp pepper 
You'll Also Need 

  • Either peanut or vegetable oil for frying 
  • around half a bottle of buffalo sauce ( I use Franks Red Hot Sauce )

Lets Make It!

  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees 
  2. Cut up cauliflower into 'drumstick' like pieces aka larger pieces lol
  3. Roast the cauliflower in the over at 450 for around 15-20 mins
  4. Mix together all of the flour mixture in a large bowl + In a separate bowl pour the 1 cup soy milk 
  5. Start setting up your fryer, and put the oil inside. You can either use a deep pot to fry in or a deep fryer. Be sure to look up safety for frying at home as it can be a bit dangerous. NEVER attempt to put out an oil fire with water. Do not turn the fryer on until you are done dredging.
  6. Once cauliflower is out of the oven, dip the cauliflower into the flour mixture. Than take it out, dredge it in the soy milk and than put it back into the flour mixture once more. 
  7. Next add them into the fryer. Fry till the outside is golden brown.
  8.  Once everything is fried, put all of the cauliflower into a clean large bowl. Pour your buffalo sauce of choice over top and toss it together until the cauliflower is full coated!
  9.  Enjoy!

  • 1 cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 1⁄2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp onion powder
  • 1⁄4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh dill, finely chopped
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Serve with wings or use as a salad dressing.
