Preview to : Fall Makeup trends

Hey everyone!

First things first, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the love shown on my last post! It was a really important article for me to write so I'm glad so many of you took the time to take a look at it. Statistics wise, it was in the top three most viewed pages on my site. I just wanted to thank you all for that. xo Now moving on from that little update, I am already hitting you guys with a post about fall!!! Fall / Winter is seriously my favorite time of year so you can expect tons and tons of posts this time of year. Now I know its not quite fall yet (especially here in Florida) but I am totally ready for the fall trends. Today I am going to show you all a few recent looks that I have done, that are perfect for this time of year. With that being said, I hope you all enjoy and make sure to tell me your favorite fall makeup trend below!

1. Amethyst Eyes + Deep Purple lips

This look was something totally new for me. I haven't really ever played around with purple lipstick, but when I did this eye look I knew it wouldn't be complimented by any other color! A fall makeup we all follow is going a little darker, so here I decided to go darker in a different way. Normally when the season changes I steer clear away from color. However this year I decided to take those summery  colorful looks and make them fall appropriate! Dark purples and amethyst's are the easiest colors to make work, so be sure to try out a colorful fall look this upcoming season!

Here is how I got it -  brows : @anastasiabeverlyhills dip brow "dark brown" @lillylashes style "Tehran" ( I believe that's the name) with some @ardell_lashes individuals @sephora holiday palate on the eyes @nyxcosmetics burgundy liner smoked out w @citycolorcosmetics shadow in Marsala @makeuprevolution liquid lipstick in "Vamp" @maccosmetics soft & gentle highlighter @hikaricosmetics blush in "sun kissed"

Quick review - Makeup Revolution liquid lipstick in "vamp" :

I wanted to quickly tell you guys about the lippie I was wearing in this pictures. Its SUCH a gorgeous color but I didn't want to promote this product with out telling you a little more about it. Makeup Revolution is a new company (for me) that I found at Ulta. I heard beauty guru Nicole Guerriero talk about it, and was inclined to go try out there cheap liquid lipsticks! When I got to the only Ulta I could find there range at, I was left with like two choices for liquid lipstick colors (the rest were sold out.) So I picked up vamp. Its only $5 which is AMAZING. But this color was really patchy, didn't build up to well, and crumbled on the lips. HOWEVER I would be willing to try more because generally dark colored liquid lipsticks always have issues, and I have tried out there highlighter in "peach lights" $6 and it is one of my new favs!

2.  White glitter + Cool Toned lips

This isn't really your average "Fall look" but I loved it! I was randomly inspired by white glitter one morning and decided to create this look. Not your conventional Tuesday morning makeup look, but hey. What I love so much about this look for fall is that its very cool toned. I almost want to push this look toward the winter makeup section, but its pretty for fall to. The white glitter just reminds me of cooler snowy weather, but the cool grey brown lips bring me back to fall. This look is so perfectly feminine, its just a pretty look to try out any time of the year!

Here's how I got it -  Brows - @anastasiabeverlyhills dip brow in "dark brown" With +NYX Cosmetics micro brow pencil in "chocolate" Eyes - @urbandecaycosmetics naked 2 palate in the crease and @litcosmetics "vanilla ice" glitter ( used all @Lab2beauty brushes on the eyes ) lips - @lorealparisusa never ending nutmeg liquid lippie & @maccosmetics lip liner in "stone"

3. Khaki

This look is one of my favorites, and although I created this a while back I thought it fit perfectly into this category. Khaki is my favorite color for fall bar none. So what better to do then include an all matte khaki / olive green eye look. It goes back to my first fall pick were I talked about how I am loving dark "colorful" looks for the upcoming season. Trying out colors like this khaki one, or dark purple or even navy turns any look up a notch and makes for a unique trend.

Here's how I got it -

Eyes are a mix of @toofaced chocolate bar palate in the crease & @nyxcosmetics "enchanted" shadow on the lid.. Lashes are @lillylashes in style Istanbul & lips are Rimmel's lip liner & @maccosmetics lipstick in myth Brows : are @anastasiabeverlyhills dip brow in dark brown***

3. Brick + Dark red vampy lips

You didn't think I would post a look about fall trends and skip out on the dark red lips did you?!?! Never. This is the fall staple. When I was first starting out in makeup this one literally the only way I would switch up my look. It was always just a normal eye look, and a dark lip. So it was only right that I would add this look to the list. Below I have put two different yet similar looks. The top is more of a lighter brick colored lip, which is easier to pull off for an everyday look. The bottom one is a little more of a deeper, classic vampy red. I will also attach a list of my favorite vampy lip colors below.

4. Spring into Fall

I think I have become obsessed with mauve pink feminine looks for fall. Its very unusual to see a pink look of any kind on a fall trends list, but you know I like to bend the rules. This look is a fresh pretty look, that while looking very spring appropriate can be such a fresh look for this time of year. I once again used very cool toned mauve shadows on the eyes and then finished it with a mauvey pink lip.

Here's how I got it -

NYX- micro brow "chocolate" Urban decay shadows on the lid "limit" "nooner" in the crease with "burnout" & "buzz" on the lid. Milani "The multitasker" face powder to brighten under eyes in 02. Blush is hard candy "living doll" and highlighter is "soft and gentle." Lips are Prestige cosmetics lip liner in "silk" and ELF matte lip in "tea rose" Lashes are by ME <3 YES, DollHaus Beauty cosmetics lash liner offering five different lash styles drops in October!! <3333

5.  Intense under eye wing

To end this list of fall looks I'm loving, I will leave you with a technique that screams fall to me. I am not quite sure what we call this look but I have seen it floating around makeup pages, for the past year. I guess I'm calling it an under eye wing? Good enough. This a technique is best when done with black liners, and dark browns so it really is great for this time of year. If you would like to learn how to do this technique on yourself I have a very in detailed post on it that you can read here - http://www.dollhausbeauty.com/2015/05/motd-exotic-eyes.html?m=1
